Not sure I liked it that Severus was distant and watching from afar I'm afraid I wanted that to continue!

When I found that you wrote a new story, I was absolutely thrilled. Ever since I read life as dictated, I have had so much respect for you as an author, and your work has definitely inspired me in my own writing. While this story obviously takes a different route, it does not disappoint. I especially appreciate how you portray Severus as flawed, but at the same time, trying his best to do right by his son. I look forward to more.
