Author's Response: I hear you, but I was going for a theme of 'responsible adults being responsible' which may have been undermmined by a bunch of schoolchildren fighting off a troll.

That was a fun chapter. I enjoyed the bit about the Prank Wars. Discouraging Harry and Neville by telling them about having to scrub the Hall with a toothbrush was funny, too.

So Albus wants Remus to be Harry's guardian. I had expected him to suggest Severus. Though it sounds like Severus may be with Harry over the summer.

I always enjoy Christmas chapters and this one is no exception. Harry's collection of pictures was nice and with the ones Hagrid finds for him, he will have a sizeable album. After living with the Dursleys, all the people showing that they care for him must make him feel more confident.
