This was a sweet one-shot. The dialogue was well done.
Overall, interesting premise and nicely detailed. Both characters are thoroughly true to form! I did have to wonder about an apparent discrepancy in the timeline: Harry is supposedly wandering the corridors after curfew "in the dead of night", yet Hagrid is (at the same time) in the Great Hall attending the feast? At least Snape and Harry will be safe till morning. 😊
I enjoyed this. It seemed like a good precursor of a better relationship between Severus and Harry. No one prefect, of course. Poor Severus, he seemed very gloomy. Especially with his line of, “Other Professors rather die than actually look for Snape if he went missing.” I think he’s in real need of a good friend... Oh! Sounds like a young, black-haired child I know! Anyhow, thank you for sharing! (~.^)
