Oh that’s frightening. I hope they catch the perpetrator soon. I wonder why Harry had to be adopted as Severus is his biological father. Thanks for the great update!

I don't necessarily think he needed an adoption, but legally, Severus did give up his parental rights, biological father or not, and there is paperwork that needs to be done to legally claim a child as yours. I thought an adoption would just be a nice touch rather than paperwork at the Ministry.
