Heart-wrenching and heavy, but so nicely done. I love the creative use of Muggle technology.
I love the human chain imagery, drawing strength from each other now and hopefully going forward as they face the challenges that lie ahead.
Oh dear, what difficult times. I’m on tenterhooks...
A nicely emotional chapter, though I am now craving freshly baked, buttered bread.
I’ve never thought of cooking that way before. I love that your writing causes me to think and reflect. The small acts speak volumes - the dropping of a sock, the peeling of a potato, the stirring of a cauldron. It’s magnificent.

Another beautiful chapter. Purpose gives us meaning, and I’m so glad he’s found a new one to hold onto as he heals.
I love the bits of humor threaded throughout your writing! What a touching and moving scene near the end. It was so beautifully done.
I was thrilled to learn that you have five books planned for your wonderful series. I enjoyed getting more of the back story in this chapter. I was also struck by how each character sees (and thus how you describe) the cottage and surrounds so differently on first approach. It’s true to life and details like that add a rich texture to your writing.
