Great start of the story, especially how the secret fits perfectly in the timeline and character responses.
Question, I see a lit of authors have the kids go to Hogwarts right after Harry's birthday. Do you all change the timeline, and if so, what is the purpose? It's my understanding that Harry's bd is July 31st, and school starts September 1st: so there's a whole month to go between them. "Yesterday had been his birthday, and tomorrow they would be taking the train to Hogwarts." Thank you! Author's Response: I think I've read so many fics where it's been done that I didn't even think to double check the actual start time! So a total error on my part, I'll probably go back and fix that
