    Their interactions are authentic to me. Dnape is staying true to himself by being mean and insulting, but there's also a steady progression toward less animosity (I bet he's realising stuff now that Harry can't really lie to him).

    I loved the sense of humour in this chapter!  

     

    Somehow the idea of Hermione looking for the wand pieces also made me chuckle - I imagine she would not rest until she found every single one :)
