I thought the fic was good, great even! I love when Harry gets to be smart and when issues are actually addressed, like the animosity from the Hufflepuffs and the abuse. But the fact that AI was used in a story on here actually makes me so distressed, even if it wasn't for the writing. I understand that somone might not be great at art, but then just don't include art at all. I would have thought that as a felow creative, you would have understood the harm posed by generative AI. Author's Response: When I used the generative AI to make art for this fic, it was when AI was still new and the discussion about whether it was ethical or not was just getting started. Creating these images (at the time I was just doing it for fun, seeing what the new AI tools could do), seeing the images that were being created inspired many of the scenes I was writing about. Seeing the images inspired new ideas that I then developed into chapters and had fun writing about. I fully understand many people's hesitation about AI, or their outright dislike of it, and I don't use generated AI images in my stories anymore, but as these specific images helped me to more fully imagine the story and write more of it, I've left them in.

I may or may not have stayed up all night reading this story and made an account out of desire to review this fic. It's been an absolute delight to come across your Severitus-centric works on P&S! I never thought I would enjoy reading about Harry as a a little potions prodigy but you've proven me wrong. I love the details you've given us about how how apprenticeships work in the Wizarding World, the culture of the Potions community, the floorplans and graphics depicting different spaces like Harry's mushroom den, and so much more! I can't wait to see where this story goes and for Harry and Snape to come to an even deeper understanding/trust in each other. I love your characterisation of canon characters and the OCs are great too! I'm also especially intrigued by the Werewolf tag and wonder how that's going to play out... Another chapter of the best fic I've ever laid my eyes upon!!! This is amazing and I wish school had been like this ... I'm so grateful that this story is not abandoned.
